  1. A personal account is used to conduct non-business related searches. Use it to research public records to investigate: first dates, neighbors, contractors (e.g. landscaper, painter, handyman, nannies, etc.) and much more.

  2. A Business account is required to process batch files, obtain API access.

    With a Business account, you will get access to addtional tools not available with a personal account. Business accounts support multiple users with individual usage tracking.

    Flexible payment options including credit cards, checks, wire transfers, and invoice billing for high volume accounts, goverment accounts, and publicly traded companies when necessary

    Business Accounts require a manual review and verbal verification via phone. They are typically activated the same day if submitted by 2 pm PST or the next business day if opened after hours.

    A business account can also request special access to obtain information from Social Security Numbers as well as access to certain types of DMV information

  3. Due to the data you can obtain, we have a know your customer policy and we may need to reach you during business hours to verify your application. Most businesses have a main phone line which is also used to verify your business registration.
